About 3 years ago, Ciska came to us and I brought her to ZZ-class. I've driven many beautiful competitions with Ciska, it's a super handsome, sweet and good mare with a great walk and trot, just what Demi needs. Ciska has had a bad time in the last year, among other things, a major surgery due to a breakdown of teeth. Demi and I came to talk on an evening of our joint sponsor (Countrymill Horsesupport Nijkerk) about her long search for a suitable Grade III horse. Later, I thought Ciska could fit. I was still making plans about the future of this elite sports mare, my breeding is on hold, so we gave it a trie. There immediately was a click between those two, that was very beautiful to see.
Making miles
Herman van der Bunt of Countrymill made the special saddle of Demi Vermeulen again suitable for Ciska II (photo). The training in the preperation to the debut of the combination is under way.
